creating visuals and digital products for startups, non-profits, and government organizations.
Where I've Been
I've had an interesting professional journey that started with recreating logos for a promotional products company (it's amazing how many businesses don't have their logo files) to production design positions where I got really good at designing labels for products.
I spent the bulk of my career leading design with a marketing focus for non-profit organizations where I led teams of people through leadership/org transitions, process and systems training, and internal communications projects. Along the way, I also gained experience leading audio/video production for live events and online streaming.
Where I'm Going
For the past year, I’ve been at an amazing software startup called Loop as a brand designer. I’ve led brand initiatives and website design projects with a focus on user experience. It’s at Loop that I discovered my passion for UX and the need for designing frictionless experiences for users. I think that “giving time back” to people as they use digital products is important and I’m looking for opportunities to improve my knowledge and skills in the UX/product design field.
Personal
In my spare time, I enjoy attending soccer games with my fam, slurping down a delicious bowl of pho, and watching the latest superhero movie.
